Women's Soccer drops CCS-opener Saturday

JACKSON, Miss. – The LaGrange College women's soccer team lost 4-1 on the road to Belhaven University in Collegiate Conference of the South action on Sunday afternoon at the Belhaven Bowl Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • LaGrange senior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Atlanta, Ga.) posted four saves while in net for LC.
  • LaGrange freshman midfielder Tatianna McCoy (McDonough, Ga.) tallied the lone goal for the Red and Black off three shots on goal. Sophomore midfielder Carsen Makuch (Marietta, Ga.) received credit for the assist on the play.
  • Belhaven's Alyssa Wilson netted the game-winning goal in the 46th minute for the Blazers.
