MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The LaGrange College baseball team lost 17-13 at Huntingdon College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Sunday afternoon at Neal Posey Field in Montgomery, Alabama.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers put up six runs in the first two innings of play as they enjoyed a 6-1 lead heading into the third.
- Everything changed when the host Hawks plated across seven runs in the bottom of the third to go up 8-6.
- LaGrange found themselves with work to do in the final three innings as they trailed 14-8 after six.
- The Red and Black did all they could, scoring five runs in the final three innings, but could not quite match the firepower of the Hawks' bats that afternoon, losing their first conference-opening series in over four seasons.
- Junior outfielder Ben Hollenbeck (Newnan, Ga.) led LC offensively with three RBI's off three hits.

- LaGrange is back on the field on Tuesday when they host Berry College at 6:00 p.m. at Cleaveland Field in Williamson Stadium.
