LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's basketball team won 80-65 against visiting Asbury University in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Saturday afternoon at the Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.

SENIOR DAY 2025-2026
- Prior to the game, the Panthers and the LaGrange College athletics department took a few moments to recognize their graduating senior class as part of senior day. The senior class of team manager Ethan Richerzhagen, guard Devin Dowell (LaGrange, Ga.), guard Micah McAllister (Newnan, Ga.), forward Ford Barnes (Leeds, Ala.), guard Jace Herrell (Charlotte, Tenn.), forward Trenton Dillard (Jonesboro, Ga.), forward Parker Gonzalez (Johns Creek, Ga.) and guard Brodie Scott (Athens, Ga.) have given their all not only on the court, but to the entire LaGrange community as a whole. Although their time on the court may be coming to an end, they will forever be a part of the Panther family.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers took a 50-31 lead at halftime, with sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) leading the way with 11 points. They would pull away in the second half, going up by as much 29 points after a layup from Barnes with 6:49 to go in the game.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Dowell led all scorers with a career-high 26 points to lead the Panthers, going four-of-five from behind the arc.
- Rashied-Henry finished with 11 points, four rebounds, two blocks and two assists.
- Gonzalez added ten points with five boards, four assists and three steals to fill the stat-line.
- Asbury junior forward Jonathan Combs (Taylorsville, Ky.) led the Eagles with nine points and three rebounds.
- The Panthers controlled the game through superior rebounding, holding a 47-22 edge.

- LaGrange is back on the court on Tuesday when they play host to Huntingdon College in a 7:00 p.m. matchup of I-85 rivals.
