LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's basketball team lost 123-92 against visiting Huntingdon College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Tuesday evening in Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Panthers led 6-0 to start the game only for the Hawks to go on a 36-15 run and put the home team in trouble with under 10 left in the opening half. LaGrange would trail by 13 at the half down 60-47.
• LC had another relatively successful offensive showing in the second half, but just could not keep pace with the Hawks who were able to cash in from behind the arc, suffering just their 10th loss of the season in the 200+ point shootout.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Devin Dowell (LaGrange, Ga.) and Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) led the Panthers with 19 and 16 points, respectively.
• Rashied-Henry was LC's top rebounder as well with 12 grabs.
• Tyler Mallory and Miles Murphy of Huntingdon combined for 62 points in the winning effort with 28 and 24-point showings.

UP NEXT

• LaGrange is back on the court on Wednesday when they visit Toccoa Falls College in a 6:00 p.m. game.
