MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The LaGrange College men's basketball team lost 83-74 at Maryville College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Friday evening at the Cooper Athletic Center in Maryville, Tennessee.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Scots took a 14-point lead at halftime and the Panthers were down by as much as 27 before LaGrange embarked on a 29-9 run capped off with a fastbreak layup from LC senior guard Brodie Scott (Athens, Ga.) with 4:54 left to cut the deficit down to seven at 72-65. But Maryville would pull away down the stretch to secure the win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange junior guard Devin Dowell (LaGrange, Ga.) led the Panthers with 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting in just 19 minutes while sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) finished with 11 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block.
- LaGrange senior guard Micah McAllister (Newnan, Ga.) added ten points, three boards, two assists, two steals and a block.
- Maryville senior forward Chase Morgan (Lenoir City, Tenn.) led the Scotties with 32 points, nine rebounds, four assists and five blocks, all while shooting 12-of-17.
- Maryville senior guard Jackson Garner (Knoxville, Tenn.) posted 23 points on the night, hitting four three-pointers.

- LaGrange is back on the court next Friday when they play host to Piedmont University in a 6:00 p.m. game.
