HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers were up by as much as 20 in the second half before a 31-12 run by the Blazers cut that down to one with 2:02 remaining in the game, bolstered by a swarming full court press. LaGrange was clinging to a two-point lead in the closing seconds when Belhaven junior guard CJ Minton (Indianola, Miss.) pulled down an offensive rebound and put up a putback jumper. As he has all season, LaGrange sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) was there with the block, swatting away Minton's shot as the Blazers were forced to foul. Two free throws by senior forward Trenton Dillard (Jonesboro, Ga.) iced the game for the Panthers.
