LAGRANGE, Ga. – Junior guard
Austen Colton (Sharpsburg, Ga.) of the LaGrange College men's basketball team scored 30 points – all off three-pointers – as the Panthers won 128-93 against visiting Covenant College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Friday evening at the Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.
Colton's ten three-pointers made tie a LaGrange record, matching the total of former Panther great Vacher Hammett against Pensacola Christian College in 1993. It likewise ties for the most three-pointers made in a game in all of the NCAA Division III this season.
With the victory, the Panthers open their CCS schedule with a victory.
