DECATUR, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's basketball team won 83-65 over host Agnes Scott College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Saturday afternoon at the Woodruff PE Center in Decatur, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers had to weather a sluggish start early in the first quarter as the Scotties jumped to a 5-2 lead in the contest's outset. Their persistence would finally pay off as they gained their first lead of the game with 1:32 left in the first quarter.
- Things finally begun clicking for LC, padding their advantage to nine points as they enjoyed a 35-26 lead at the half.
- The LaGrange attack exploded for 29 points in the third quarter as they cruised to their 10th win of the 2025-26 campaign, making it their fifth-consecutive season hitting the mark. The win also put them in a tie for the top spot in the CCS standings alongside Asbury University.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange senior guard Amanda Mclendon (Orlando, Fla.) posted her 20th-career double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds on the day.
- Panther senior guard Laila Battle (Smyrna, Ga.) led the Red and Black with 21 points.
