LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's basketball team won 91-62 over visiting Wesleyan College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Thursday evening at the Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers pounced on thew Wolves to open the game, going up 12-2 in the first 2:08 of the first quarter and ending the opening stanza with a 27-8 lead led by LaGrange senior guard Annika Bonds (Athens, Ga.) and her ten points. Despite a gritty performance, Wesleyan would never challenge that lead again.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore guard Malea Graves (Tuscumbia, Ala.) led the Panthers with a career-high 17 points with five rebounds, four assists and two steals.
- LaGrange senior guard Amanda Mclendon (Orlando, Fla.) posted 13 points on the night while senior guard Skylar Edwards (Canton, Ga.) posted her first career double-double with ten points and eleven boards.
- Wesleyan sophomore guard Zariah Davis (Columbus, Ga.) posted a game-high 18 points with six rebounds to lead the Wolves.
- The Panthers' 91 points were a season as, as were their ten three-pointers made, 60 rebounds secured and 28 assists.
