LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie against visiting Huntingdon College in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers found themselves in a hole in the opening minutes when they surrendered a goal in the 8th minute to Huntingdon senior forward Dashun McDonald (Huntsville, Ala.), assisted by senior midfielder Tate Reynolds (Alexander City, Ala.).
- LC found the equalizer in the 22nd minute when LaGrange sophomore forward Damien Fekete (Columbus, Ga.) scored his team leading third goal of the season, that off a pass from senior forward Dylan Bailey (Marietta, Ga.). The game went into halftime tied at 1-1.
- The second half saw the Panthers dominate possession, finding multiple scoring chances with six shots-on-goal. Each time, however, they would come up just short, ultimately settling for the tie.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore goalkeeper Sawyer Williams (Johns Creek, Ga.), last week's Collegiate Conference of the South (CSS) Defensive Player of the Week, finished with one save for the Panthers.
- Huntingdon freshman goalkeeper Trent Wineberg (Coosada, Ala.) put on a valiant effort with ten saves.
- Shots were 19-5 in favor of the Panthers with an 11-2 advantage in shots-on-goal.

- LaGrange is back on the field on Friday when they host Methodist University in a 4:00 p.m. game.
