LAGRANGE, Ga. – Senior forward Lucas Duke (Dexter, Ga.) of the LaGrange College men's soccer team has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Duke helped the Panthers to a 1-1 tie against Belhaven University on Saturday and a thrilling 2-1, 90^th-minute victory over formerly unbeaten Millsaps College on Sunday, the Panthers' senior day game.

"Lucas was instrumental for us all weekend," noted head coach Ryan Dickson. "His creativity in the attack drove everything we did and made the difference in getting results in both games.

Duke's award-clinching moment came in the match against Millsaps when, in the 90^th-minute, he masterfully placed a throw-in into the box right in front of a crashing Dylan Bailey (Marietta, Ga.) who deposited the game-winning tally to secure a thrilling senior day victory and snap the Majors' seven-game unbeaten streak.

LaGrange is back on the field on Saturday when they travel to Covenant College to continue conference action in a 3:00 p.m. tilt.
