WILMORE, Ky. – The LaGrange College women's volleyball team split two matches at the Asbury University tri-match in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Saturday at Luce Center Gymnasium in Wilmore, Kentucky, prevailing in straight sets over Wesleyan College before falling in five sets to the host Eagles in the evening.
LAGRANGE 3, WESLEYAN 0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-10)
- The Panthers dominated the Wolves, with LaGrange freshman outside hitter Danika Durham (Parker, Ariz.) leading the way with 12 kills, three service aces and six digs.
- Sophomore setter Julia Damico (North Port, Fla.) and sophomore setter Rebecca Miranda (Snellville, Ga.) combined for 24 set assists.
- Sophomore libero Emma Campbell (Killen, Ala.) chipped in three aces with a team-high 14 digs.
LAGRANGE 2, ASBURY 3 (22-25, 25-20, 25-13, 21-25, 15-9)
- LaGrange freshman outside hitter Alex Krabs (Boynton Beach, Fla.) led the Panthers against the Eagles with 16 kills and ten digs.
- Down two sets to one going into the fourth, Krabs threw LaGrange onto her back with seven kills to hold off a late rally by Asbury. In the fifth and final set, the Panthers went up 8-6 on an ace by Krabs before faltering down the stretch.
- Damico added fifteen set assists and 13 digs. Sophomore libero Isabella Zentkovich (Sharpsburg, Ga.) added 14 digs to lead the defense.

- LaGrange is back on the court next Saturday when they travel to Piedmont University for another CCS tri-match.
