LAGRANGE, Ga. - The LaGrange College men's and women's cross-country programs are resuming competition in 2025 after being inactive for the 2024 season, led by new head coach
Cire Campbell.
Campbell – also serving as the head coach of the Panther track & field program – brings decades of coaching experience to his role, having previously coached at Georgia State University and Bluefield State University, as well as with the Saudi Arabian National Team.
The Panthers will field four men and one woman to reignite their program. Freshmen
Roman Brown (Covington, Ga.),
Kanyon Thornton (Rome, Ga.),
Alan Vidrio Buen Rostro (Lawrenceville, Ga.) and
Jeremiah White (Covington, Ga.) will represent the inaugural men's team while freshman
Kevanique Hill (George Town, Cayman Islands) will carry the torch for the women's team.
LaGrange opens their season on Saturday, September 5th at the Young Harris Cross-Country Opener. They will compete at the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championships on Friday, October 31st.
