ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – The LaGrange College women's tennis team tallied a 6-3 win at Central Alabama Community College in non-conference play on Sunday afternoon at the CACC tennis courts in Alexander City, Alabama.

THE BASICS

      DOUBLES

• Sophomore Karla Wiley (Berrien, Ga.) and freshman Michaela Krajcovicova (Bratislava, Slovakia) fell just short against Colbie Horne and Jenna Dobbs 6-8.

• Junior Reese Moat (LaGrange, Ga.) and freshmen Kayla Wiley (Berrien, Ga.) took down Addie Dobbs and Natalie Cater 6-8.

• Senior Abigail Fuller (Newnan, Ga.) and sophomore Aireona Williams (LaGrange, Ga.) enjoyed a forfeit win to take the doubles portion for LC.

      SINGLES

• The sophomore Wiley defeated Horne 6-0 and 7-5 to clinch the match for the Panthers.

• Krajcovicova picked up her first collegiate win as she bested Jenna Dobbs 6-3 and 6-2.

• The freshman Wiley similarly added her first collegiate victory to her record as she took down Addie Dobbs 7-5 and 6-0.

• Moat was dealt a tough loss to CACC's Kate Gaspar in 2-6 and 3-6 fashion.

• Fuller fell short in her match with Cater 1-6 and 0-6.

• Williams was once again declared a winner via forfeit as LC went on to claim the 6-3 victory.
