LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman Michaela Krajcovicova (Bratislava, Slovakia) of the LaGrange College women's tennis team has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 19, 2026 in an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.

Krajcovicova turned in a perfect week in singles play, going 2-0 at the No. 2 position with a pair of straight-set victories. The freshman opened with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Belhaven on Wednesday before adding a 6-4, 6-0 result against CACC on Sunday. In doubles, she teamed with Abigail Fuller for a 6-1 win at No. 2. Her performances came during team victories of 7-0 over Belhaven and 5-2 against CACC.

Krajocovicova and the Panthers concluded their 2025-2026 season this week. Krajcovicova posted a 15-3 record in singles play.
