LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's volleyball team lost their first home match of the season against visiting Fort Valley State University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers had their best shot in the second set when they exploded out of the gate to take a 7-3 lead with Lagrange sophomore libero Isabella Zentkovich (Sharpsburg, Ga.) holding serve on three straight rallies. But the Wildcats answered with a 12-1 run to take the lead, never looking back.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange freshman outside hitter Alex Krabs (Boynton Beach, Fla.) racked up six kills on the night. sophomore outside hitter Ella Kahikina (Tampa, Fla.) contributed five kills and five digs. Sophomore setter Julia Damico (North Port, Fla.) added ten set assists and ten digs, both team-highs.
- Fort Valley senior outside hitter Benaye Kyle (Birmingham, Ala.) led the Wildcats with 10 kills and 14 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Dakotah Holmes (Hampton, Ga.) added ten and seven.
