SHREVEPORT, La. - Centenary handed LaGrange its second straight loss, beating the Panthers 10-5 at Shehee Field on Saturday.
The Panthers outhit Centenary 15-13 in the game.
Adam Dorn led the hitting with four hits.
Colby Zinser had three hits, including a double.
Fletcher Hislop had two hits, scored a run and had two RBI's.
David Smigelski also had two hits.
Logan Willis (0-1) started and took the loss. Willis allowed five runs in four innings of work.
Trystin Merson surrendered four runs in two innings of work.
Nick Morgan pitched an inning, giving up a run. Benjamin Epperly threw a scoreless inning,
The Panthers opened the scoring in the second inning.
Noah Preuer was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, forcing in Hislop for a 1-0 lead. Centenary built a 10-2 lead over the next five innings.
The Panthers closed out the scoring with three runs in the ninth. Hislop's base hit drove in two of the runs.
The Panthers face McMurry on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
