WILMORE, Ky. - Panther Men's Basketball (6-16, 1-8 Collegiate Conference of the South) left the Luce Center Gym empty-handed Friday night (Feb. 7), falling to the host Asbury Eagles (7-14, 3-5 CCS) by a final score of 83-71.

Game Summary
The contest's onset was all-Eagles as they ambushed LaGrange with a 13-4 run in the first 4:29 of play. The Panthers rallied to bring the game within two, down just 27-25 with under seven minutes remaining in the opening half. LC's offensive rhythm would unfortunately implode in the final minutes as Asbury held a 39-33 advantage at the half.

The Panthers struggled in the second half, as Asbury went on to fend off the visiting LC 83-71. Samuel Moss led the team with 21 points on the night, his second 21-point performance of the season. The Sharpsburg, Ga native now sits just 44 points shy of 700 career points, the highest of any active Panther.
