ATLANTA, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's basketball team's four-game win streak was snapped in a 75-48 loss at Emory University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the Woodruff PE Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers fell behind due to a sluggish offensive start as they found themselves down 25-6 after the first quarter of play. They outscored the Eagles 20-16 in the second quarter to make the deficit 16 as they trailed 42-26 at the half.
- The second half saw little improvement as the Eagles continued to click offensively and force LC in tough situations as the Red and Black suffered just their third loss of the 2025-26 campaign.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Amanda Mclendon (Orlando, Fla.) and Laila Battle (Smyrna, Ga.) combined for 30 points as they tried to will the Panthers into competitive position throughout the night.
- Mclendon enjoyed another double-double performance, her second of the season.
