ATLANTA, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's basketball team won their third straight game with an 87-82 victory over the host Petrels at the Jack Berkshire Classic sponsored by Holiday Inn Express hosted by Oglethorpe University in non-conference action on Monday evening at Dorough Field House in Atlanta, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clinging to a 40-35 lead at halftime, the Panthers found themselves trailing by six with 13:08 remaining in the game. LaGrange would slowly chip away at the deficit, finally overtaking Oglethorpe to go up 77-68 lead off a jumper in the paint by senior forward Trenton Dillard (Jonesboro, Ga.) with 3:10 left. The Panthers would hold on for the victory, securing their first three-game winning streak in over two years.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore guard Tyler Harrington (Winter Park, Fla.) was a revelation, coming off the bench to score a career-high 24 points to lead the Panthers, shooting four-of-nine from behind the arc while pulling down four rebounds, all in just 25 minutes.
- Oglethorpe senior guard Jackson Kemp (Roswell, Ga.) led all scorers and rebounders with 26 and nine before fouling out.
- Dillard finished with 15 points on seven-of-eight shooting for the Panthers.
- Oglethorpe senior guard Malachi Dooley (Mt. Airy, Ga.) finished with 17 points and six rebounds.
- LaGrange sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) posted seven points, eight rebounds and four blocks.
- The Panthers outshot the Petrels, 47.8 percent to 39.7 percent.

- LaGrange is back on the court on Tuesday when they play Sewanee University at 2:00 p.m. in Atlanta.
