LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's soccer team fell 4-0 against host Covenant College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Saturday at Scotland Yard in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Scots opened up the scoring in the 37th minute when senior defender Fox Landgren (Homewood, Ala.) found the back of the net to put his team up 1-0. That score would hold heading into the locker rooms.
- The second half sadly saw a sharp decline for LC, as Covenant's Tyler Johnson (Greenville, S.C.) notched a pair of goals in the 67th and 75th minutes to give the hosts a 3-0 advantage late.
- Freshmen mid Sam Conrad (Lookout Mountain, Ga.) buried the late insurance goal to secure the four-nil win for the Scots as LC suffered just their third loss of the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore goalkeeper Sawyer Williams (Johns Creek, Ga.) tallied 10 saves on the day for the Panthers.
- Total shots were 24-10 (SOG 14-3) in favor of Covenant.
UP NEXT
- LaGrange is back on the field on Wednesday when they host Piedmont University for a 5:00 p.m. Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) matchup at Panther Field.
