LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Middle Georgia State University in non-conference action on Monday evening at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • The Knights had first-half goals from senior midfielder Nicole Beasley (Haverhill, England) and junior defender Fiona Madigan (Swords, Ireland), giving them a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Despite a hotly contested battle in the second half,  that would hold up for the final score.
  • LaGrange junior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Sharpsburg, Ga.) tallied nine saves on the night for the Panthers.
  • MGA freshman goalkeeper Diana Cipriano (Tifton, Ga.) posted two stops for the Knights in the shutout.
  • Shots were 19-2 in favor of the visitors.
