LAGRANGE, Ga. – Sophomore forward
Connor DePriest (Newnan, Ga.) of the LaGrange College men's soccer team has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 12, 2025.
DePriest delivered a breakout week for the Panthers, scoring four goals across three matches. Coming off the bench, DePriest found the net in back-to-back conference draws against Piedmont and Maryville while adding two more goals in a 5-2 victory at Warren Wilson.
Four of DePriest's five career goals came during the past week. He's tied for second on the season in goals with six and fourth in points with ten.
He is the second Panther to be recognized with a CCS Offensive Player of the Week award this year, joining teammate senior forward
Lucas Duke (Dexter, Ga.) who two weeks ago was honored with the same accolade for week ending September 28
th. DePriest is the fourth LaGrange men's soccer player overall to receive a CCS weekly accolade this season.
"Connor's been immense for us this week." LaGrange head coach
Ryan Dickson said of his second-year striker. "Scoring four goals in three games is impressive on its own, but the timing and importance of those goals in big moments is what sets him apart. He's stepped up when we needed him most and fully deserves thus recognition."
LaGrange is back on the field on Saturday when they travel to Asbury for a 3:30 p.m. match in a critical CCS contest.
