The LaGrange College Women's Volleyball Team (3-2) hits the road this weekend as they head up to Lynchburg, Va. to take on William Peace University (4-4), Greensboro College (5-3), Randolph College (4-3) and host Lynchburg College (4-4) on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 13-14).

The Matchups
The Panthers will face off with William Peace University this weekend, with the match set for 5:00 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 13). The team is 0-5 all-time against the Pacers and will look to turn the tide in the sixth installment of the series between the two.

They will also take on host Lynchburg College at 7:00 p.m. after game one. The Panthers' last meeting with LC came on September 3, 2005 when they bested the Hornets 3-0 in Lynchburg. They will have their sights set on back-to-back victories to maintain a perfect (and updated) series record.

On Saturday (Sept. 14), they will play Randolph College, who are coming off a tough 2-3 loss to Southern Virginia University on Wednesday (Sept. 11). The Wildcats are 0-3 all-time vs LaGrange, who won the last bout 15 years ago today on September 12, 2009 by a score of 3-1.

The Panthers will wrap things up with a match against Greensboro College, who started the year hot after winning three of the first four matches, but have since split their most recent four. LC is 1-5 all-time against the Pride, with their last win coming in 2015 when they edged GC 3-1 in a neutral site setting.

Players to Watch
Pacers OH Jordan Juanes leads the Pacers with 93 kills and 3.45 kills per set.

The Hornets of Lynchburg will look to their star DS Tori Williamson to clamp things down defensively, who leads the team with 113 digs.

The leadership of OH Jillian Warter will be much needed for Randolph on Saturday. The star grad-student brings a solid overall game to the equation with 86 kills and 76 digs on the year. 

The Pride bring the best defensive player to the table in DS Morgan Mayfield, who leads all five teams in digs with 186 this season.

LaGrange will look for production from Julia Damico, who leads the team with 80 assists. Her overall playmaking ability will be paramount in the Panthers' efforts to secure much-needed victories on Friday and Saturday.
