HOW IT HAPPENED
- Down two sets to one in the fourth set, LaGrange found themselves trailing 24-23 and facing match point. Sophomore outside hitter Alex Krabs (Boynton Beach, Fla.) put down the kill off a set by junior setter Julia Damico (North Port, Fla.) to tie it up and sophomore outside hitter Danika Durham (Parker, Ariz.) gave them a 25-24 lead with a kill of her own. Up 26-25, it was again Krabs putting down the kill to send it to the fifth set.
- Down 6-2 in the fifth, LC rallied, chipping away at the deficit before taking an 11-9 lead off an ace by freshman defensive specialist Sarah Frank (Newnan, Ga.). Knotted at 14 all, Krabs put down a kill to set up match point. A Clark Atlanta attack error clinched it for the hosts as the LaGrange Panthers stormed the court.
