The Panthers grabbed a 12-2 seventh inning victory over the Hawks of Huntingdon, securing a spot in the CCS Semifinals.

Game details
Hunter Brooks started on the rubber in game two for LC. In the sophomore's lone appearance this season, Brooks secured a 3-2 win over Huntingdon College. The Hawks first pitcher tonight was Michael Driver. In 38.2 innings pitched, the senior has a 5.59 ERA and a 2-3 W/L record. In the top of the second, Jackson McElvy put the Panthers up 1-0 with an RBI single up the middle. Coy Phillips extended the lead to 2-0 in the following inning but the Hawks would respond with a score of their own. Going into the fourth, LC held a 2-1 lead. The Panthers wasted no time to add more points. In the top of the fifth, Fletcher Hislop drove Jorge Fragoso home on a sacrifice RBI. Rhett Mixon and Riley George then added to more runs to put LC up 6-1. Jackson McElvy closed out the top of fifth with an RBI single. In this inning, Nash Evans took over the LC pitching duties.The Hawks scored one run in the fifth to bring the LC lead 7-2. During the sixth, Joe Ruth jacked a two-run home run, increasing the lead to 9-2. In the seventh, Ruth doubled down the right field line to extend the lead to 12-2. Still in the seventh, Benjamin Epperley came in for Evans. The Panthers would run-rule the Hawks in the seventh, securing a spot in the CCS Semifinals.

Panther Pitchers
Sophomore Hunter Brooks was tonight's first pitcher. In four innings thrown, he had three strikeouts with two runs off of four hits. 
Junior Nash Evans pitched in two innings. He finished with three strikeouts and did not let up a hit.
Senior Benjamin Epperley came in for Evans. In one inning, he had one strikeout and secured the Panther win.
