Game Details
Both teams seemed to have an even standing to start the game as LaGrange led by three, up 12-9 after five minutes had eclipsed in the contest thanks to early firepower from
Kameron McCall. McCall's squad quickly got the message, finishing the first half with a 36-24 run to take a commanding 48-33 lead heading into the intermission.
Jace Herrell led the team in scoring in the first half with nine points off of three successful three-pointers.
The second half saw much of the same as the Panthers continued to succeed in nearly every possession, bursting for 15 points in the first five minutes of the second half. With Dowell continuing to heat up, he and
Samuel Moss came together for a dominant 21-point second half performance as they each delivered from behind their respective lines - one being the three-point line for Dowell (3/3) and the other the free-throw line for Moss (6/7). The Panthers nearly claimed a hundred points on the night, but could not quite cash in late as they walked away with the 24-point victory to knot their season record up at two-apiece.
