LC Men's Soccer (2-8-0) was bested by the Sewanee Tigers (2-5-4) by a final score of 3-0 Sunday afternoon (Oct. 6) in an out-of-conference match.

Match Details
The first half sadly didn't go the Panthers' way, as Will Hawgood was able to sneak a shot past Sawyer Williams in the 6th minute to put the Tigers in front early 1-0. Just as it seemed the host LC was starting to pick things up and create some chances of their own, SU's Tyler Cozzie doubled his team's lead in the 34th minute.

The Panthers' struggles continued in the second frame, registering only one shot on goal in the entire half of play. The Tigers would put the game on ice in the 58th minute with a penalty kick goal from Cozzie to give his squad a comfortable three-goal cushion.

Top Panther Performer
The young freshman goalkeeper Sawyer Williams put forth a solid showing in net, despite the three goals against. Williams earned nine saves on the afternoon, including a massive one-on-one save against Cozzie late in the contest to which kept the Panthers within two.

Next Match
