LC Women's Golf completes inaugural fall season

The LaGrange College Women's Golf Program wrapped up their first ever fall season this week competing in the Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry College (Oct. 28-29). Alexa Fontanez, Emma McCoy and Cannon Ramsey, coached by Aaron Feyes, have made history at LC as the first group to represent the Panthers in women's golf.

Tournament Details
Located in Rome, Georgia, the Stonebridge Golf Course provides a 73 par, 5,708 yard playing ground.
Due to their being not enough golfers to compete as a foursome, LC played as individuals at the invitational. The Panthers each completed a pair of rounds over the two-day period.

Cannon Ramsey led the way with a plus 23, shooting plus 12 and 11 in rounds one and two. This tied her for 42nd out of 82 competitors. Trailing slightly behind in 48th position with a plus 25, was Emma McCoy. Through two days, she scored a plus 13 and 12. Alexa Fontanez rounded out the pack of Panthers, shooting a plus 20 on Monday (Oct. 28) and improving with a plus 18 on Tuesday (Oct. 29th) placing her in 71st with a 38.
