Huntingdon spoiled LaGrange's Senior Night with a 3-1 win in a USA South match Wednesday in Richter Gym. The Panthers are now 4-17 overall and 4-10 in conference play. 

Seniors Adreona Bowen and Ariel Modeste were honored before the match. Modeste had 10 kills and a .308 kill percentage in her final home match. Bowen, who joined the volleyball team after playing three years on the women's basketball team, made her first start of the season and her fifth appearance.

Journey Oden had a match high 18 kills for LC. Maggie Vo had a match high 29 digs. Kirsten Boyd had a double-double of 16 assists and 15 digs. Karson Troth had a team high 21 assists, while Jharia Harris had eight kills and 17 digs.

Huntingdon (13-14, 9-5 USA South) took the first two sets 25-23 and 25-19. LC rallied to take the third set 25-23. The Hawks held off a Panthers' rally to take the match with a 25-21 fourth set win. 

LC trailed 20-13 in the third set. The Panthers reeled a 10-1 run to go up 23-21. Harris put down the clinching kill off an assist from Boyd. In the fourth set, trailing 20-14, the Panthers once again rallied. Oden's final kill of the match got LC within two, 23-21. But the Hawks scored the final two points to take the set and the match.

The Panthers close out the 2021 season against Berea and Agnes Scott in a USA South tri-match Saturday in Decatur, Georgia.
