JACKSON, Miss. - The LaGrange volleyball team went 1-3 at the Millsaps Invitational played at Millsaps College and Belhaven University. The Panthers are now 2-4 on the season.

LC opened the tournament with a 3-1 win over Louisiana College, winning the match by scores of 18-25, 29-27, 25-22, and 25-19. Freshman Paeton Robinson had a team-high nine kills and added 15 assists. Courtney Swafford added a team-high 28 digs, Madison Lewis 21 assists, and Emily Boswell 17 digs.

The Panthers lost by 3-0 scores to Millsaps, the University of Dallas, and Belhaven. 

LC will host Gadsden State on Thursday, Sept. 13 in Richter Gym at 7 p.m. The Panthers travel to Birmingham, Alabama for the Lawson State Classic on Sept. 15.
