LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Covenant blanked LaGrange 3-0 in a USA South game Wednesday. The loss dropped the Panthers to 9-6 overall and 4-5 in conference play.

Covenant (10-5-1, 7-2-1) moved into first place in the USA South West Division, one point ahead of Maryville. Piedmont follows, then LC, which is five points ahead of fifth place Huntingdon. The top four teams in each division qualify for the conference tournament.

The Scots out shot the Panthers 20-5 and held them to two shots on goal. Austin Berry had two goals to lead the Scots. Cory Aycock had four saves in goal for the Panthers.

LC plays at Averett on Saturday and at Greensboro on Sunday in USA South games.
