LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - LaGrange's 2017 season ended with a 3-1 loss to Huntingdon in the first round of the USA South Tournament at Covenant College. The Panthers finished with a 14-13 record and their second straight trip to the conference tournament in their first season under Coach Madison Machurek.

The Panthers took the first set 25-18. Huntingdon (19-17) came back to take the next three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-17 to take the match.

It was the final match for seniors Emily Arnold and Maggie Ivester. Ivester had a double-double with a match-leading 12 kills to go with 13 digs. Arnold added 11 kills. Lauren Sanders also had a double-double of 19 assists and 17 digs. Cierra Terry added 15 digs, while Libby Compton had 13 assists.
