LaGrange got a first half goal and made it stand up in beating visiting Berea 1-0 on Saturday at Panther Field.

The win was the second straight for the Panthers as they evened their season record at 2-2. LC has won back-to-back matches for the first time since the 2013 season.

Freshman Errick Sturm broke up a scoreless first half in the 32nd minute. Sturm beat Berea goalkeeper Noah DeHart for his second goal of the season.

Sophomore Bonner Brooks kept Berea off the scoreboard with five saves.

The Panthers host Birmingham-Southern on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
