DEMOREST, Ga. - Piedmont opened up a large halftime lead and went on to a 7-1 win over LaGrange in a USA South match Friday.

Piedmont took a 4-0 lead by halftime. The Panthers got on the board in the second half. Errick Sturm scored off an assist from Daniel Provence. It was Sturm's team-leading fifth goal of the season.

The Panthers play at Covenant on Saturday at 2 p.m. in a USA South match.
