Freshman Miguel Martinez got his first collegiate goal as LaGrange took on Covenant in a USA South match Saturday night at soggy Panther Field.

Martinez's goal came in the second half of the Panthers' 3-1 loss to the Scots. Freshman Cory Aycock had two saves in his first start of the season in goal.

The Panthers held a 10-8 edge in shots for the game, with five being on goal. Brandon Burrell had two of the shots on goal.

The Panthers host Toccoa Falls on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
