Volleyball: Panthers sweep visiting Talladega in non-conference match

LaGrange won its second straight match with a 3-0 sweep of Talladega in a non-conference match Thursday in Richter Gym.

The Panthers (11-16) took the match by scores of 25-12, 25-11, and 25-10. In the opening set, the Panthers had 11 of their 24 kills and a .529 attack percentage.

Emily Arnold and Maggie Ivester each had six kills, while Lexi Hall and Danyelle Carr added five. Carr had a solo block and six block assists in the match. Hall led the Panthers with eight digs.

The Panthers play Averett and Ferrum in USA South matches Saturday in Danville, Va.
