Visiting Elmhurst (Ill.) downed LaGrange 3-0 in a non-conference game Thursday night. The Panthers are now 1-5, while the Blue Jays improved to 4-2-2.

Elmhurst got two first half goals, but the Panthers' defense bent only once in the second half. A.J. Wilson had eight saves in goal for the Panthers.

The Panthers host Birmingham-Southern at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
