LaGrange took visiting Piedmont to four sets in a USA South Southern Division match Tuesday at Richter Gym. The Lions (21-3, 7-2 USA South) turned back the Panthers (8-15, 2-7 USA South) 3-1.

The Panthers took the first set of the match 25-20. The Lions came back to take the next three sets by scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-20 to take the match.

Freshman Katie Chancellor had nine kills for the Panthers and Hayley LaFontaine added seven. Ella Weymiller led the team with 15 digs. Aspen Coggins and Delaney James combined for 21 assists.

The Panthers play USA South foes Averett and Ferrum on Saturday in Ferrum, Va.
