DEMOREST, Ga. - LaGrange lost by 3-0 scores to Piedmont and Covenant in a tri-match Saturday. The losses left the Panthers 2-8 on the season.

The Panthers lost to host Piedmont by scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-21. Covenant beat the Panthers by a score of 25-18 in all three sets.

Hayley LaFontaine had 12 kills to lead the Panthers, with six coming in each match. Erin McKinstry had a match-high 19 assists against Piedmont and also had 19 against Covenant. Ella Weymiller had a match-high 10 digs against Piedmont and 10 more in the Covenant match.

Nicole Wilson and Hayley Ritchie followed LaFontaine in kills. Both had a total of nine in the two matches.

The Panthers host Brenau on Tuesday.
