LaGrange celebrated Senior Night with a 3-1 win over Agnes Scott at the CEB Gym on Friday. The Panthers are now 6-14, while the Scotties slipped to 6-8. The Panthers avenged a 3-0 loss to the Scotties on Sept. 5.

Seniors Katie Covington and Erin McKinstry were honored before the game. Covington had nine kills and 11 digs in the match, while McKinstry had a match-high 34 assists.

Agnes Scott took a 1-0 lead by taking the first set 25-17. But the Panthers rallied taking the next three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20 to take the match.

Rebakah Hicks had a match-high 14 kills for the Panthers. Amanda Singletary had a team-high 17 digs, while Destinee Briskey and Morgan Elrod had 10 digs each.

The Panthers host Mary Baldwin and William Peace in USA South matches Saturday at the CEB Gym beginning at noon.
