Brittany Hasty

Brittany Hasty came to LaGrange College ahead of the 2025-26 season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

Hasty comes to LaGrange after spending two seasons as the Assistant Coach at Rhodes College.

Prior to that, she served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Salem University (WV), where she assisted with practice operations, coordinated team itineraries, supported recruiting efforts, and managed various basketball and athletic operations.

A lifelong athlete, Hasty began playing basketball at a young age and enjoyed a standout prep career at Madison County High School (FL). She helped lead her team to the state playoffs and was named Third Team All-Big Bend. She also excelled academically, graduating in the top five of her class while earning numerous honors, including Scholar Athlete of the Week (local TV), Academic Scholar for Basketball, and Dual Enrollment Scholar.

She continued her athletic career at Ohio Valley University, competing in both basketball and softball. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Biology, before pursuing her master’s degree at Salem University, where she completed a rigorous program in Human and Health Performance and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

A native of Madison County, Florida, Hasty is the daughter of Jeff and Peggy Hasty and the proud sibling of seven. She credits her small-town roots and community support for helping her achieve her academic, athletic, and professional goals.

Hasty shared that she is thrilled to be joining Head Coach Steve Kenner and the LaGrange program, noting that “this year is going to be something special. We have a great group of young ladies ready to get after it, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together on and off the court.”
