Baley Coleman

Baley Coleman (Class of 2022) returned to LaGrange College as an assistant coach and pitching coach of the Panther baseball team in the fall of 2025.

Coleman spent the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025 as an assistant pitching coach at Georgia Gwinnett College where the program went to the NAIA World Series for the seventh consecutive year and tallied a 56-7 record during that time. Prior to this he had also coached in the Coastal Plains League with the Holly Springs Salamanders as the assistant pitching coach in the summer of 2024.

Coleman was a standout for five seasons with the Panthers where he was a part of a pitching staff that won three USA South conference championships, attended three Regionals, won the 2022 regional and Super Regionals and helped lead the 2022 LaGrange baseball team to the NCAA Division III World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He completed his collegiate playing career during the 2023-2024 year at Georgia State University as an right-handed-pitcher.

Coleman’s collegiate career statistics saw him pitch 284.2 innings with a 3.73 career ERA, 247 career strikeouts and a 26-8 career record.

He graduated from LaGrange College in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in educational studies and a minor in history.

Coleman attended South Paulding High School, graduating in 2018. He was inducted into the South Paulding High School Hall of Fame in Spring of 2022.
