Dominic Bornman joined the LaGrange College football coaching staff in July of 2026.
Bornman enters the 2026 season as the Panthers' Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach.
A veteran coach with experience at every level of NCAA football, Bornman brings more than a decade of coaching expertise to LaGrange. Throughout his career, he has coordinated special teams, led offenses, managed recruiting operations, and coached quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, tight ends, offensive linemen, kickers, and punters. Prior to joining the Panthers, he served on the coaching staffs at Waynesburg University, Crown College, Norwich University, West Virginia Wesleyan University, Illinois College, Dickinson College, Stanford University, and Lycoming College.
Most recently at Waynesburg University, Bornman coordinated one of Division III's top special teams units. His kickoff return unit featured the national leader in kickoff return yardage, while the Yellow Jackets ranked among the nation's leaders in blocked punts. Under his direction, Waynesburg earned multiple Special Teams Player of the Week honors and produced All-Conference performers at both wide receiver and return specialist.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Bornman has extensive experience in recruiting and recruiting coordination, overseeing territories across Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and New York. He has also played a key role in player development, academic success initiatives, and staff leadership throughout his career.
Bornman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Digital Media from Juniata College in 2012, where he was a standout wide receiver and one of the conference's leading receivers during his senior season. He completed a Master of Science degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Liberty University in 2024.
