De'Queze Fryer joined the LaGrange College football coaching staff in the August of 2025.
Entering the 2026 season, Fryer enters his second year as the Panthers' Tight Ends Coach while also serving as the Assistant Director of PACE (Panther Academic Center for Excellence), where he helps mentor and support LaGrange College students in their academic success.
A former standout tight end for the Panthers, Fryer is one of the most accomplished players in program history. During his playing career from 2019-22, he earned American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III All-America Second Team honors in 2021 and was a First Team All-USA South selection after one of the most prolific receiving seasons in school history. That season, he hauled in 66 receptions for a school-record 944 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, leading the conference in receptions, receiving yards, receptions per game and receiving yards per game. He also became the first player in program history to record a touchdown reception in every game of a season.
Fryer concluded his collegiate career as one of the most productive receivers in LaGrange history. He ranks among the program's all-time leaders with 1,594 career receiving yards and 19 touchdown receptions, the second-most receiving touchdowns in school history.
A native of Macon, Georgia, Fryer graduated from LaGrange College with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. As both a coach and academic administrator, he is committed to developing student-athletes on and off the field while helping continue the championship culture of Panther Football.
