In 2011: Played in Apprentice and Ave Maria varsity games... Also played on JV squad...

High School: Three-year letterman at center and defensive tackle... First team All-Cobb County offensive line as a senior and second team as a junior... During senior season, team's Most Valuable Player in one game and Offensive Player of the Game in another... Cobb County Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week for play against North Cobb and Kennesaw Mountain during junior year... Selected to play in Cobb County Senior Bowl... School's male recepient of the Athletic Leadership Award for Class of 2011... Graduated with honors... Also threw the shot put and discus in track... As a senior, placed sixth in the state and runner-up in the region in shot put...
