MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the Brewton-Parker Invitational hosted by Brewton-Parker Christian University at BPCU in Mount Vernon, Georgia on Friday evening.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Freshman Laila Martin (LaGrange, Ga.), the sole Panther in the women's 5K, finished with a time of 25:42.27.
- The Panther men, competing in the men's 7.7K, came in sixth place out of seven teams, led by freshman Paul Wilson (Douglasville, Ga.), who came in 17th place out of 60 finishers with a time of 32:27.05.
- Freshman Trevor Kutcher (Ludowici, Ga.) finished in 22nd with a time of 32:59.75.
- Freshman Justice Nixon (Columbus, Ga.) and freshman Navey Johnson (Ludowici, Ga.) finished back-to-back in 38th and 39th places, with respective times of 34:25.73 and 34:33.83.
- Freshman Alex Ramos Hernandez (Woodburn, Ore.) placed 45th with a time of 35:33.19.
- Sophomore Alan Vidrio Buen Rostro (Lawrenceville, Ga.) clocked a time of 35:37.31 for 47th place.
