Women's Soccer falls to Oglethorpe Tuesday

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's soccer team lost 5-1 at home to visiting Oglethorpe University in non-conference action on Tuesday night at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • LaGrange senior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Atlanta, Ga.) posted 14 saves while in net for LC, keeping the Panthers in competitive position for a majority of the contest.
  • LaGrange Sophomore midfielder Carsen Makuch (Marietta, Ga.) scored her first-career goal as a Panther, bringing LC within two early in the second half.
  • Oglethorpe's Ella Nuzum netted the game-winning goal in the 21st minute for the visitors.
