LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's soccer team lost 4-3 against William Peace University in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling behind 1-nil early, LC was able to tie the game in the 16th minute as sophomore forward Kenny Pameni (Atlanta, Ga.) made good on the feed from Fadl Said (Powder Springs, Ga.) to knot the game up at one-apiece.
- Things took an ugly turn for LaGrange as William Peace netted back-to-back goals to hold a 3-1 advantage at the half.
- With work to do in the second half, the Panthers wasted little time getting themselves back square with the Pacers, scoring two quick goals in under two minutes to equalize the affair at 3-3.
- The heartbreaker came in the 76th minute as WPU's Chris Rodriguez (Wilson, N.C.) tallied the eventual game-winner to hand the Red and Black their first loss of the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore goalkeeper Braeden Hayes (St. Augustine, Fla.) denied eight shots while in net for LC.
- Pameni led the team with four shots on goal.
