LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's tennis team was bested 6-1 by visiting Johnson & Wales University (N.C.) in a non-conference bout on Friday afternoon at the Greer Tennis Courts in LaGrange, Georgia.

MATCH-BY-MATCH

• Sophomore James Willingham III (Waycross, Ga.) and freshman Caleb Taff (Douglasville, Ga.) were bested by J&W's John Bellinis and Hugo Cossais 5-7.
• #2 doubles saw senior Nic Bodin (Atlanta, Ga.) and sophomore Yoni Falla (Guadeloupe) fall to Nate Lawler and Max Frederick 3-6.
• Seniors Kyle Moore (Sharpsburg, Ga.) and Michael Strydom (Brits, South Africa) were beaten in #3 doubles by Cayden Danzer and Sam Cicciarello 3-6.
• Falla lost to Bellinis 2-6 in respecitive matches.
• Strydom was bested by Cossais 5-7 and 2-6.
• Willingham III was beaten in his match against Justin Wagner 2-6 and 5-7.
• Taff notched the only win on the day for LC as he dispatched Frederick 6-1 and 2-0.
• Bodin lost to Cicciarello 4-6 and 0-6.
• Sophomore Jesse Griffin (Douglas, Ga.) lost to J&W's Cole Goodman 2-6 and 4-6.
